UKRAINIAN EMERGENCY

The serious humanitarian crisis caused by the ongoing war in Ukraine has generated a generous offer of aid in many forms in the community of architects, planners, landscapers and conservationists and in the professional associations, including the willingness to welcome displaced Ukrainian architects and students to their offices. CNAPPC has therefore implemented a number of actions:

Drafting practical guidelines as a tangible aid in managing the phases of reception: the “Guidelines for the reception of Ukrainian professionals and students in Italian professional realities”. The goal is to provide a reconstruction of the existing regulatory framework and to indicate some possible ways of taking up the profession of an architect in Italy or using the premises and resources of professional offices in Italy, highlighting the requirements and precautions/safeguards that should be followed.

Promoting the design for peace project: “Project for awarding grants for young Ukrainian refugees hosted by Italian architecture firms”. The project will involve 10 Italian firms and 10 Ukrainian professionals selected through an open call
